Kyle Robinson is a transformational leader, business development expert and customer service visionary with 16 years of experience in banking and finance. In February of 2015, Kyle left Bank of America Merchant Services to pursue other opportunities. He has since been consulting with different companies, including a current Presidential candidate’s campaign, accepting speaking engagements worldwide (he recently spent two weeks in Africa speaking at a leadership conference), and helping set up small businesses. The recipient of a bachelor of arts in communications from Southern University in Tennessee, Kyle went on to study at the University of Tulsa College of Law and the Divinity School of Andrews University before joining the BoA Merchant Services team in 1999. Based in BoA’s Tampa office, Kyle quickly proved an outstanding sales executive and manager, earning multiple Sales Leadership and Client Service honors along the way. The company’s top-ranked sales representative six years in a row, Kyle also won three Spirit Awards of Excellence during this early period, the highest possible distinction for a BoA associate. Leaving BoA as a vice president of merchant services in 2006, Kyle subsequently became senior vice president of national sales at Chase Paymentech Solutions in Atlanta.
Over the next two years, Kyle continued to build upon his achievements in the merchant services arena at Chase Paymentech, handling some of the firm’s largest corporate and government accounts. With oversight for a team of national sales representatives, Kyle generated $10 billion in annual revenues during his tenure at Chase, a figure that amounts to 200 percent of its sales quota. From there, Kyle joined Atlanta’s First Data Corporation, where he spent nearly a year as a national account executive and Large Corporate account leader.
In 2009 through a joint venture between First Data and Bank of America, Kyle Robinson returned to the Bank of America family as a senior vice president of large corporate sales and business development for Bank of America Merchant Services. Since then, he has acquired and retained some of the unit’s top clients, selling the full spectrum of payment processing, payroll distribution, and customer loyalty programs to corporations across the country. Eventually, Kyle was promoted to Head of Sales and General Manager for all of the Commercial and Business Banking segments at Bank of America Merchant Services. In this role he helped transform the teams into a client focused organization that achieved unprecedented results. Together Kyle’s teams produced nearly half of all the revenue earned by Bank of America Merchant Services.
Kyle enjoys playing music with his band, NothingEverNew, a Christian contemporary group that released its first album, Breaking Through, in 2013. Active within his church as well, Kyle volunteers whenever possible in its music ministries. Kyle has also been affiliated with homeless ministries and served as creative director of the drama ministries. Over the years, Kyle has written, directed and produced two musicals with his church, bringing them to audiences in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and elsewhere. The most recent of these, Great Joy, completed production in the Tampa Bay area. Kyle lives in Holly Springs, Georgia, with his wife and children.
